heat oven to 375°F.
combine butter flavor crisco, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg whites, oil, water and vanilla in large bowl. beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended.
combine flour, baking soda and salt. mix 1/2 of the flour mixture, at a time, into the creamed mixture at low speed until just blended. stir in chocolate chips.
drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
bake at 375°F for 8 mintues, or until lightly browned. cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. remove to cooling rack.
note: using crisco oil in place of the fat in egg yolks makes these cookies cholesterol-free.
